audiovisual performance
You know that feeling when life is shifting? A moment where worlds collide, your present starts slipping into memory, and you begin to miss things even as they're still happening. New adventures unfold while you're still processing the ones you've left behind. Input Memories Here invites the audience to experience this heightened state of transition — a space where everything feels fragile, vivid, and beautifully surreal.
This audiovisual performance transforms an immersive room into a memory-fueled, synth-controlled environment. Memories take shape through echoes, light, and sound, guiding the audience through tangled layers of emotional chaos until past and future dissolve, leaving only the intensity of the present moment.
The performance was created by Nancy El Azzi, Ece Tulcali, and Tim Auzinger, and is controlled in real time using MIDI devices, a PlayStation 3 controller, and live sound generated by Nancy on various synthesizers. The concept was inspired by our shared experience of leaving our home countries to come to Barcelona and create together during the Master's program in Digital Arts & Creative Technologies.
