interactive, kinetic Light-Installation

Bodhira was initiated by my dear friend Daniel Baer in 2024. He is also the project owner, and any booking requests should be directed to him. Originally, it was designed for an electronic music festival called Klangtherapie, near Nuremberg. After receiving great feedback from festival visitors, we decided to evolve the installation concept into an exhibition mode.

Bodhira is an interactive kinetic light installation that explores the fragile relationship between natural systems and human intervention. A circular structure with moveable elements unfolds in organic, flower-like motions, continuously transforming the perception of light, space, and form. Through reflective surfaces, carefully composed light, and an immersive spherical soundscape, Bodhira creates an atmosphere suspended between nature and fiction.
Visitors can influence the installation through touch: light, movement, and sound respond in real time, shifting between harmonious, chaotic, and unexpectedly poetic states. In this way, Bodhira becomes a living system that makes the impact of even the smallest gestures visible, inviting reflection on interconnectedness, balance, and coexistence.
